Library's Announcement on the Referendum

What Library Cardholders need to know about April's Referendum

On April 17, 2007, selected areas outside of he current Cary Area Public Library District will be voting on a referendum question. The question will ask them whether or not they would like to join the Library District. A similar question will appear on the ballot for those of you who are already in the Library District. The referendum must pass in the current Library District, as well as in the selected areas. It is important to remember that this referendum will not change the amount that current Library District residents pay on their tax bill.

Haven't we had enough of different governing bodies trying to increase our taxes? A non-resident can join the library and pay for themselves. That option exists for the Crystal Lake library as well. So there is no need to force the rest of the taxpayers to pay for a service they may not use. Vote No.

When my children were much younger I chose to join the Crystal Lake Library. As they grew older, they used their school libraries and all of their research was done online. We stopped renewing our membership years ago because we didn’t have a need for it. We’re not “underserved” and we don’t want to be taxed for services we don’t use; that’s why we chose to live in an unincorporated area. Taxing bodies need to operate within their budgets and quit looking toward homeowners for an increase in their revenue.

Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually
code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
